FAQ

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive around 4:00 PM as our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. There’s just one entrance to the garden where the ceremony will be held. If you arrive after we’ve started, we kindly ask that you wait at the venue entrance to avoid any interruptions.

What's the best way to get to and from the venue?

Our venue is located at 1109 Middle Head Road, Mosman. We recommend driving or taking an Uber or taxi to and from the venue. If driving, head north from Sydney CBD via Military Road, then turn left onto Middle Head Road. Please allow plenty of travel time as Military Road on a Friday afternoon can be very busy!

Is there parking available?

Parking is available in the Harbour Trust Carpark right next to Burnt Orange, use the driveway on the right before you reach the main driveway. This is called The Club House Car Park. If you drive past the restaurant and reach the roundabout, there are two additional car parks with ample parking available. We suggest viewing Google Maps ahead of time to ensure you know where to locate car parks if driving.

What is the dress code?

We kindly ask our guests to dress in formal attire. For the ladies: A floor-length dress or a formal cocktail dress. For the gents: A dark suit or tuxedo are great options. Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, we request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We invite you to relax and enjoy a child-free night.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation is specifically addressed to you. If we've included a plus-one, their name will be listed.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Our ceremony will be held outdoors in the Burnt Orange garden sundial, followed by cocktails on the balcony and then dinner inside the restaurant. We suggest bringing a jacket.

Is there a wet weather plan?

Yes, we have a wet weather plan in place. In the event of bad weather both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors at the venue to ensure everyone stays comfortable and dry!

Can I take photos and post to social media?

We ask that you keep your phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. After that, feel free to snap away and share photos from the rest of the day! We’d love to see your memories, so be sure to tag us when you post on social media.

Should I bring a gift to the wedding?

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for! If you'd still like to contribute, you can do so through our online registry at or at the wishing well we'll have at the event. You can view our online registry here: www.hitchd.com/amberandmark

What if I have dietary requirements?

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure the venue accommodates your needs. Just reach out, and we’ll take care of the rest!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by Friday 10th January so we can confirm final numbers with the venue. To RSVP please select 'Will Attend' or 'Will Not Attend' on the email invite you were sent.
